Ikea Reading – Highway Works, A4
Thornbury Surfacing LTD have carried out works at Ikea Reading – Highway Works, A4. The value of this contract was just over £1 million.
This project was extremely challenging as the A4 is a main arterial route into and out of Reading. This meant all works had to be completed without road closures and minimal disturbance to road users.
These works have been carried out to a high standard, within our scheduled program and were carried out in accordance with our strict health and safety requirements.
Thornbury Surfacing have always managed to accommodate the movements in our construction program and it feels they always try to go the extra mile if needed.
In summary, we have been impressed with the way Thornbury Surfacing carry out all aspect of works and would certainly consider using them on future projects.
